Richard "Louie" Geiger, 69, of Churubusco, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2017 at his home.\nHe was born on March 5, 1948 in Wolf Lake, he was born to the late Tonny and Venus (Herron) Geiger. He spent his formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1966.\nLouie was married on February 3, 1973 to Valerie Jean Pressler.\nHe was a Milk Delivery Man and retired from Prairie Farms in 2007. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play sports, taking care of his yard, playing cards and watching Hoosier Basketball.\nLouie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Valerie Geiger; two daughters, Erica Geiger and Erin (Randy) Marks; a son Kyle (Kari) Geiger; three brothers, William "Bill" Geiger, C.L. "Pete" Geiger and Roger "Hump" Geiger; seven grandchildren, Keegan, Kaelyn, Hayden, Riley, Ava, Alyssa and Emersyn.\nHe is preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers, Glenn, Jack, Larry, Jim, Don, J. D., Gerald, Melvin Geiger; a sister, Marilyn Fulk.\nCalling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service.\nServices will begin at 11:00 AM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2017.\nBurial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Allen County.\nIn lieu of flowers please make donations to the Leukemia Foundation in memory of Louie's mother.
