Mark F Knepper, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.\n\nBorn in Norman, OK, on August 7, 1954, to the late Maynard and Mary (Bode) Knepper. He spent his formative years in Cincinnati, OH, graduating from high school there. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1976.\n\nAfter college, Mark was married to Peggy Hobbs. They moved to the area with their son Ryan in 1992. She preceded him in death on December 14, 1999.\nLater he was married to Jennifer Bockelman in Fort Wayne on August 20, 2000, she survives.\n\nHe worked as an accountant for the City of Fort Wayne since 2004. He previously was employed at Central Soya.\nMark was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Huntertown.\n\nMark is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jennifer Knepper; a son, Ryan (Jenn) Knepper; a stepdaughter, Karen (Doug) Stier; a stepson, Mike (Denise) Flynn; a brother, Christopher (Kathy) Knepper; a granddaughter, Scarlett Knepper; four step-grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Jenna (Derrek) Eby, Kanan Flynn and ZZ Flynn.\n\nServices will take place at Resurrection Lutheran Church on Monday, August 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service.\n\nThe family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.\nAt this time we do ask that anyone who attends the calling or service wear a mask, also limit your time in the building.\n\nBurial taking place at Riverview Cemetery, Allen County.\n\nIn Lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.\n\nOnline note to the family at www.sheetsandchilds.com.
