Dewenia E. (Andrews) Miller, 88, was released from this earth on Thursday, June 9, 2022, to join her Heavenly Father, her beloved husband Robert, legendary parents Austin and Nellie Andrews, and two siblings Donald and Robert Andrews.\nShe was born on July 30, 1933, in Alexandria, IN. She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1951. She worked for Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator and taught dance at Bonnie's School of Dance in Alexandria. Dewenia also attended Amber's Beauty school in Muncie, IN and Lutheran School of Nursing in Fort Wayne.\nIn 2003, she retired from JC Penny as the store receptionist at Glenbrook Mall in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, bingo, swimming and loved her unicorn collection and her two pets, Oreo and Ghost.\nDewenia had a delightful sense of humor and was an engaging conversationalist.\nShe loved and was loved deeply by her family and friends.\nSurviving are her four children, Cindy Molloy of Apollo Beach, FL, Patti (Dan) Criswell of Fort Wayne, Bonnie (Rick) Randall of Allegiant, MI, and Larry (Candice) Miller of Brownstown, MI; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.\nPrivate graveside service will be held for family.\nMemorials may be sent to Ossian Health and Rehab or Heart to Heart Hospice for their excellent care.
