Denise Marie Ramsey, 60, of Collins, passed away on October 6, 2020, at her home.\n\nBorn in Fort Wayne, on April 13, 1960, to Donald and Rosemary (Minnich) Konger. She spent her formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Carroll High School in 1978.\n\nDenise was married to her best friend, Mark Ramsey at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ege, on May 9, 1981.\n\nThroughout high school Denise worked at Shelton's (Egolfs) IGA, where her connection to the community began. Later she worked at Churubusco State Bank, which deepened her community spirit. For the last 21 years she has worked as a retail bank officer for Lake City Bank. Denise always strived to learn more, so she could help others.\nShe was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ege. Although Denise enjoyed her crafting and vacations, her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.\nDenise will be remembered for her great strength, her steadfast faith and her belief that God has a plan.\n\nDenise is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mark Ramsey; her mother, Rosemary Konger; three children, Nichole (Matthew) Nichter, Alicia (Brandy Martel) Ramsey and Joshua Ramsey; her two brothers, Steve (Kathy) Konger and Tim (Lisa) Konger; her four sisters, Brenda (Scott) Reynolds, Cammy (Mike) Smith, Lisa Greenway and Sheila (Chris) Falloon; her seven grandchildren, Madison, Brayden, AJ, Bryce, Brady, Malachi and Lilly.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her father, Donald Konger.\n\nMass of Christian Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ege, on Monday, October 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., with calling from 9:00 a.m., to 9:45 a.m., at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home.\n\nThe family will also receive friends on Sunday, October 11, 2020, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited after calling.\n\nBurial taking place at Ege Catholic Cemetery, Ege.\n\nMemorials to Immaculate Conception Church, Ege for Masses\n\nOnline note to the family at www.sheetsandchilds.com.
