Debra Dawn Comparet, 63, of Churubusco, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at her home.\n\nBorn in Garrett, on September 19, 1956, to the late Ted and Marjorie (Dawson) Leininger. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, graduating from Northrop High School in 1974.\n\nDebra was married to Daniel at Lake Pleasant, on March 21, 1975.\n\nShe worked as a caregiver in the community. Her favorite job was to be a mom and grandma.\nDebra had a great creative expression through her gardening and crafts. She attended Pathway Community Church. She enjoyed traveling and exploring life with family and friends.\n\nDebra is survived by her husband of 44 years, Daniel Comparet; three daughters, Jessica (Jeff) Felton, Audrey (Stirling Keen) Comparet and Carly Comparet; a sister, Carla (Scott) Gardner; two brothers, Marc Leininger and Brett Leininger; two grandchildren, Josie & Miki.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Andrew Comparet.\n\nServices will take place at Pathway Community Church on Friday, January 3, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.\n\nFamily will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 2:00 PM, until 6:00 PM.\n\nIn Lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to A.D.A.A (Anxiety & Depression Association of America).\n\nOnline note to the family at www.sheetsandchilds.com.
