Dale A. Crabill, 77, of Churubusco, passed away at 3:32 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, at his home.\n\nHe was born in Churubusco, on May 3, 1941, to the late Cledith "Tiz" and Florence (Krider) Crabill. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1959.\n\nDale was married to Norma Egolf in Churubusco, on February 18, 1961.\n\nHe retired from Kwik Lok Corp in New Haven on April 13, 2012, after 48 years of service. He also owned and operated with his family the H & O Sports Shop in Churubusco from 1978 to 1994.\nDale was a member of the Churubusco United Methodist Church, the Whitley County Barnstormers and the Model "T" Club.\nHe loved spending time with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed building and flying RC Planes and Helicopters, restoring antique cars, fishing, taking rides through the country and going "RVing".\n\nDale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma Crabill; his son, Dave (Amy) Crabill; two daughters, Melanie (Nathan) Killworth and Jodi (Chad) Keener; his sister, Beverly (Hurshell "Bud") Nelson; his brother, Max (Wilma) Crabill; eight grandchildren, Trevor (Brittney) Crabill, Kelary (Landen) Clodfelter, Alayna (Derek) Gordon, Katee (Joshua) McBride, Ross (Shannon) Killworth, Jessica (Zach) Ferry, Autry Keener and Grace Keener; nine great-grandchildren.\n\nHe is preceded in death by his parents.\n\nFuneral Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Doug Lucker, officiating.\n\nThe family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
