Brenda Sue Martin, 79, of Kendallville, passed away on January 1, 2023, at her home.\n\nShe was born at Lucky Hospital in Wolf Lake, on October 7, 1943, to the late Raymond Royce "Buck" and Jeanette (Herron) Beezley. \n\nBrenda Bloom was married to William Martin. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1985.\n\nShe worked for several years at Fort Meyers Truck Stop before going to work at Dexter Axel, where she retired after 25 years.\n\nShe was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. She liked to travel in her semi with her true love, Ed. She especially loved to spend time with her grandkids.\n\nBrenda is survived by her three daughters, Rebecca (Earl) Price, Rhonda Martin, and Jennie Bloom; a sister-in-law, Joyce Beezley; a sister, Jann (Dan) Chupp; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandkids. \n\nIn addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Arminda Jean Bloom; sisters, Lore Lee Sherman, Linda Mitchell; her brother, Thomas "Tom" Beezley; her companion, Ed.\n\nA funeral service will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., with calling beginning at 10:00 a.m.\n\nMemorials may be directed to the family c/o Sheets & Childs Funeral Home.\n\nSheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
